Home → Reminder 365 → Using other fields as Send To adressees
I have a form library for recording risks. There are fields for (amongst other things) next review date and nominated risk manager. I want Reminder 365 to use the Nominated Manager field to pull the email address from, rather than the pre-selected fields. I know that this will require some fiddling with RegEx to make work, but I can get InfoPath to create a Submit rule this way, so I had hoped to be able to do the same here. Is this possible? |

Hi Ian - is your Nominated Manager a "Person" field type? If so you can just use it by selecting in the Send To - no regex foo needed. (See in this area of the Alert config where it shows a drop down next to the To and CC fields - these are Person fields in your list http://sharepoint-alert.com/files/2013/04/image04.png). If it isn't a person field type (e.g. just a plain text field) then you can't use it,sorry! |
